He argues that many of the reports are inappropriate, or unfounded.

Suspected abuse must be reported, all states now requited a wide array of professionals- including physicians,nurses, dentists, mental health professionals, social workers, teachers(and other school officials), day care or child care workers, and law enforcement personnel-to report suspected child abuse and neglect.
